Mr. Tambourine Man

December 5th, 2008 . by Erin

My plans for this wonderful Friday fell through and I didn’t get the one job they told me I was a shu-in for… Jerks! SO… I’m going to post the song that I always sing when I’ve had a crap day and feel really blue… Even though I am a devout Bob Dylan fan, The Byrds sang it much better…

With a short little intro by the wonderful David Crosby who went on to sing with ‘Crosby, Stills and Nash’ which then in turn became ‘Crosby, Stills, Nash and Young’.

Oh Dusty Springfield! It’s one of the original songs of teenage shenanigans, not to mention the song was featured in ‘Pulp Fiction’.

Miss Dusty Springfield, the queen of mischief ;)

Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow

There are two different Music videos to my next song, but both are very similar in their message and content. Both have live performances mixed with clips of various famous couples of the decade.

The Shirelles were one of the most popular girls groups in the 50’s and early 60’s. They have hits stemming from ‘Soldier Boy’ to ‘Baby It’s You’. They were the group that other groups like The Crystals, The Shangri-La’s, The Chiffons, The Ronettes and countless others based their sound off of. This next one is another one of my favorites mostly because a) I love the sound of the Violin in this song, and b) Almost every time I date someone I’m always wondering whether they are dating me because of me or because of the way I am built and how I look. They love me today, but will they still love me tomorrow? It is unfortunately a real concern.
