Nyquil Coma

November 15th, 2008 . by Erin The Great

Sorry everyone… Through the job hunting, getting settled, and trying to find my way across the vast land of Dallas, I had a weird illness strike me down. It’s mostly upper respiratory so it could be worse… I could be hailing the ‘Porcelain God’ praying that with every heave I might get an hours worth of sleep before the next round, so I’m thankful that’s it’s coughing instead of vomit that is keeping me up at night.

Luckily for me I have Nyquil at my disposal! The ‘Nightime, Sniffling, Sneezing, Coughing, Aching, Fever, Knock you out for a month, Why does my cat suddenly look like ‘Elvis’, medicine!

As a side note: The new James Bond movie ‘Quantum of Solace’ is really good. I saw it last night with a bunch of friends and I have to say, Daniel Craig as ‘James Bond’… Is muy bueno

I’m sorry you weren’t feeling well.

Amanda and I saw Bond last night, and I was sorely disappointed with the lack of sex and nudity. More specifically, Daniel Craig nudity. I didn’t love this one.

Off to watch Casino Royale now!!

Sorry you haven’t been feeling well! Hope you recover fast—and try to avoid animals that look like deceased icons.

That Nyquil is nasty/good stuff. It gives me weird dreams…but at least I can sleep when I am sick and using Nyquil.

    Good luck getting settled!

Sorry you aren’t feeling well!! I started last night with a pretty bad sore throat and now I can feel it in my sinuses. WHAT HAPPENED FLU SHOT?! I got you and you have failed me! Boo!!

NyQuil is my FAVORITE!! But it is hard to take it when you have kids and your husband has to leave the house at 7:30 am for work.

NYQUIL GOOD!! There is a Denis Leary NyQuil bit that is hilarious BUT full of swears so I abstain. From posting it anyway, LOL!!

Back in the day I would get sick and feel “fast and slow” or “Thick and thin” with NO help from drugs. And yes my love, you come from that same gene pool since my sister, your Mother, also had these same quirks when ill. Imagine the fun we would have had with Nyquil ;-)

Hope you are feeling better! I would use the sickness to blog. I mean, you just sit there at a computer, right? How taxing can it be?
