Crazy Clip: Day 3
October 29th, 2008 . by ErinWhat I am about to post may have been the most creepy/disturbing part of my chilhood. For anyone who has seen the clay animation movie ‘The Adventures of Mark Twain’, you would know that there is a part in this movie that has the devil with a theatrical mask as a head.
Ordinarilly you would pass this off as nothing… It was the 80’s, they did a lot of crazy stuff. This unfortunately gave me nightmares for months! I’m not kidding…
Parents? Did you know that they took this off the air? Did you know that this one small part in the movie would give your fragile and impressionable baby girl nightmares for months? I’m just wondering….
That is seriously creepy. I am glad I never saw this when I was a child. Was it actually meant for kids?
It was meant for kids. Parents started complaining (and for good reason) so the network had to take it off the air and it was forever banned from network television.
“It was the 80’s, they did a lot of crazy stuff”
true that!
Oh my word—I think anything that is claymation should be taken off the air. That stuff creeps me out. Especially the Christmas movies. Those animals are just too weird!
HOLY CRAP!! I had never even heard of that and then when I watched it….CREEEEPY!!
Not going to watch. The picture right there at the beginning is totally creepy enough, and my own sweet impressionable little girl is standing right next to me.
Erin, why are you doing this to me?!?!?
Lara - I don’t blame you one bit!
Kristina - I just can’t help myself… It’s Halloween.
Rychelle, Barbara & Jillene - I know right? So creepy! Down with claymation!!
Okay I couldn’t finish it…it freaked me out!! LOL!
